Toptek Communications PA-180V VHF Power Amplifiers are very stable Solid State linear amplifiers designed for Amateur Radio 2 Meter FM, SSB and CW operations and Commercial communications. Dual MOSFET push-pull PAs provide full RF output* of 180 watts with only 5 watts input, making this amplifier useful for both handheld and compatible mobile VHF transceivers.
Front panel push-buttons select Mode, RX preamp, SWR meter and Power Output Settings of 60, 100, 140, or 180 watts. The front panel multi-color 8 LED string serves to indicate output power settings, output power, SWR and Error.
A unique shroud enables the oversize fan to quietly cool this compact amplifier for safe, long-term operation at full power. Multiple protection circuits, a 21dB Receive Low Noise Amplifier (LNA), RF sense or PTT keying (required for SSB/CW) and a large, quiet thermostatically controlled fan are some of the great features of this Toptek VHF amplifier. True 50 ohm Type-N connectors maintain the highest efficiency to the feedline and the antenna.
